Neighbors helping Neighbors

Life gets busy but once a month from September to December, we gather volunteers to serve as a helping hands around South Florida. We help feed the homeless, run school supply drives and collaborate with organizations who are already doing great work around Miami. We encourage anyone who would like to volunteer to join us and be part of helping our city flourish. All volunteers receive a FREE WLM t-shirt, for volunteer dates please visit our "Get Involved" tab.

Love Beyond Borders

A Love Beyond Borders trip is held each year in which care bags are assembled for children in underdeveloped countries. Many of these children come from rural areas where materials like the ones we send are hard to find or expensive. In January, we begin to fundraise and from the money raised we fill WLM black string bags. Later, in June care bags are either hand delivered or shipped to impoverished familiesWe devote ourselves to help all different cultures, backgrounds and race. We want our hope and love felt Beyond Borders. Want to learn more? Go to our "Trips" tab and see how you can be a part of our next amazing journey.

What does a care bag include?

A typical WLM care bag includes a black string bag for reusable purpose, BPA free bottle, pacifier, blanket, outfit, socks, wash cloth, and shampoo. In special circumstances additional items (e.g. baby formula) can be included.

Who receives these care bags?

Our target is to reach children living in regions of the world where families find little to no hope or help. Children in poverty face many obstacles growing up, we want to be a dose of hope and love they deserve.
"Poverty is not being without money, but bing without hope."

Where does the money go?

We are a fund under the Coral Gables Community Foundation, who serves as our fiscal sponsor. Any and all contributions, donations and assets are received through CGCF and are used only for the purpose for which is needed. Funds raised are allocated to purchase and fill care bags with supplies. We aim to show financial transparency and pledge reliability, integrity and honesty in every area of our lives, especially in our organization. If you would like more financial information, please do not hesitate to email us. We want to ensure all of our donors feel a sense of certainty when donating to our organization.
